About this policy
This policy describes information handled through NetworkGuard360 at https://networkguard360.com, including enquiries, contributor applications and articles. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@networkguard360.com.
Information you provide
We collect the name, email address, message and technical details you provide in contact and community forms. Contributor applications include your name, email, intended contribution and any LinkedIn profile URL you choose to provide. Email registration stores a password hash through WordPress, not a readable copy of your password. We also store email-confirmation status, application decisions, acceptance of the Terms, and contributor content and editorial records.
LinkedIn sign-in
When available, LinkedIn sign-in is optional. If you choose it, LinkedIn provides an account identifier and basic profile information, which may include your name and email. We use the account identifier to recognize your LinkedIn login and the profile name to assist application review. The current integration does not request access to your connections, messages or permission to post to LinkedIn. It does not establish professional identity or qualifications. LinkedIn applicants must confirm their email with NetworkGuard360 and receive administrator approval. LinkedIn also processes your interaction under its own privacy policy. Email registration is an alternative.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, confirm email ownership, assess contributor applications, review and publish articles, respond to enquiries, protect the site and investigate misuse. Administrators review applications. Editors and administrators review submitted articles. Approval does not make your email or application statement public; published articles may display your chosen author name, article text and any bio included for publication.
Cookies and technical information
WordPress uses cookies for sign-in and account preferences. LinkedIn sign-in uses short-lived security cookies to connect the authorization response to the browser that started it. Our application uses a hashed representation of the connecting IP address for temporary request limits. Web hosting infrastructure may also record request details such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps and requested pages for operation and security. Embedded content and linked third-party websites may use their own cookies and process information under their own policies.
Recipients and service providers
Authorized site administrators, editors where relevant, and providers operating hosting and email delivery process information as needed to run the service. Confirmation and account-decision messages are sent to the email address you supply. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to address abuse or protect rights. Published contributions are accessible to the public and may be copied or indexed by others.
Retention and your choices
Account and application records remain stored until removed by an administrator. Article and editorial records may remain with the publication history. Verification links expire after 24 hours; short-lived LinkedIn sign-in state expires after 10 minutes. Expired temporary records may remain until routine system cleanup. You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing support@networkguard360.com. We may verify ownership before acting. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal obligations or publication history, and copies may remain in backups or third-party caches.
Safe submissions
Do not send passwords, API keys, confidential customer information, private logs or identifying production configurations. Remove identifying details and embedded location information before submitting material. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy when site features or processing practices change. The date above identifies the latest version.
